Non Surgical Body Fat Reduction.

WHAT IS LIPPODISSOLVE?
Lipodissolve also known as mesotherapy utilizes Phosphatidylcholine and deoxycholate (PC–DC) injections to reduce areas of unwanted fat. It’s been used as nonsurgical alternatives to liposuction and FDA approved. Results are not as drastic as surgical liposuction and should not be considered as a weight loss option.

HOW IS IT DONE?
In this procedure, PC/DC is injected into unwanted fat areas, the fat cells are destroyed, and removed by liver metabolism then excreted by the kidneys and bowel. DC is a bile salt that makes the destroyed fat by PC (a phospholipid) water soluble. PC/DC works in the body up to 8 weeks. Results are best observed in 4-8 weeks.
Who is the ideal candidate?
This is NOT a weight loss option. If you are ideal size yet have persistent body fat in areas that is stubborn to go away, then this is an ideal option. It takes 3 sessions for optimal results. Each session is done 4-6 weeks apart from one another. Results are noticed in 4-8 weeks. Areas that can be treated include inner thighs, double chin, bra line, abdomen, love handles, and upper arms.
If you have a history of bleeding disorders, liver disease, kidney disease, allergic to soy or eggs, then this treatment is contraindicated.
What to expect during procedure?
Area is iced prior to injections to minimize discomfort.
Some mild stinging is expected after injection but reduced with ice.
Slight numbness in the treated often occurs and can persist for several weeks/months after the treatment. This always resolves spontaneously with time.
What to do afterwards?
No excessive exercise or activity over next 2 days.
To optimize results, eat extra fiber to increase fat excreted in the digestive tract. Follow a low carbohydrate/high protein diet (such as steamed vegetables with fish/chicken/meat and try to avoid bread or potatoes) for 72 hours post treatment.
NO extreme heat or coldness to area for 8 hours such as hot shower, sauna, swimming, tan beds, or sunbathing
Massaging Arnica gel into the treated area 3-4 time a day can also help with bruising and swelling, as can a compression garment.
Tylenol for discomfort but NO Ibuprofen
Increase water intake over the next week after injections.
Minimize alcohol intake so liver can do its job.
Weight gain will prevent you from appreciating your full results. Maintaining a healthy diet and exercise routine after your procedure can help prevent this.
How many treatments are needed and when?
Depending upon the area to be treated you will need a course of treatments. One treatment will produce minimal results. Treatments can be carried out 4 weeks apart … or 2 weeks if you are having more than one body part treated simultaneously
